Dr. Kirsty Choquette
Registered Psychologist
Hello, I’m Kirsty! My pronouns are she/her. I’m of Mi’kmaw and Euro-Canadian heritage, and I’m a doctor of school and clinical child psychology. That means I’m trained to understand how young people grow, learn, feel, and connect. I believe that youth and their families are the experts in their lives, goals, and needs. My job is to help support you in your unique journey. I start by building a collaborative, supportive, and safe relationship with you. I want to understand your strengths, culture, history, and goals. Together, we can identify the direction you want to go and your best paths to get there.
Right now, I offer psychoeducational assessments and some psychological for youth between 5 and 20 years old. The goal is to identify helpful and realistic steps that support their learning, development, and wellbeing. If you are interested in a psychoeducational or psychological assessment, please reach out! I would love the chance to get to know you while we talk about what an assessment might look for you or your child.
