Dr. Christina Rinaldi

Registered Psychologist

Hello! I’m Christina and I am a school and clinical child psychologist, and also a professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta, where I teach and conduct research on child development. I am a registered psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. Originally from Montreal, I completed my PhD in School and Applied Child Psychology at McGill University.

At Empowering Growth I work with children (3-12) and families to make sense of everyday challenges or sometimes more serious concerns related to human wellbeing. For now, my practice focuses on parenting support and in limited capacity, I also provide early childhood psychological assessments and therapeutic support. My work as a psychologist has been shaped by multiple approaches such as developmental, attachment-based, cognitive-behavioral, family systems, and strengths-focused. Every child and family is unique, and together we will work collaboratively to meet your personal goals.
